Second in the Western Series
Bek lives in Bean City, a small town up in the Dunes.
Bek is a Native American Bear and loves to share stories about her home with her friends.
Bek lives in a traditional tent called a tepee. It can easily found because of a very tall totem pole standing outside with a Beanie kids head at the top.
She loves spending time making jewellery for her friends. Bek’s favourite things to make are dream catches. A special hoop made from willow with a woven web that has beads and feathers attached to it. The dream catcher is hung near her bed so that it catches bad dreams but allows good dreams come through.
Bek has amazing bush survival skills. She can live in the bush for days because she knows exactly which plants and berries she can eat.
She makes a soft bed from feathers and moss and she uses her beautiful poncho as a blanket to keep warm.
