Part of Steiff’s Teddys For Tomorrow Series.
The first giant pandas arrived in America in 1937. Richard Steiff, then living in America, immediately began design work.
Steiff’s archivist confirms that on December 1, 1938 the very first sample was recorded, making Steiff the first toy manufacturer to offer a panda.
They have remained in the range ever since, illustrating their ongoing popularity.
Now Steiff heritage meets Steiff’s future. Evander Panda bear joins the Teddys For Tomorrow Collection.
He’s made of eco-friendly materials consisting of woven plush made of soy bamboo viscose.
As a Teddys For Tomorrow white tag edition, he wears a special brass chest tag that displays Steiff’s iconic elephant motif.
Evander is five-way jointed and wears a gold-plated button-in-ear.
Evander Panda Teddys For Tomorrow is a Worldwide white tag Steiff edition limited to only 2020 pieces.
