Such a sweet looking little hamster with stitch detailed paws and long whiskers
The hamster is from the Muridae family. Found in Eurasia and Central Asia, they are characterised by large food-carrying cheek pouches, thick fur and a short tail.
They live in burrows below the surface of the ground in fields & subsist mostly on grains. The female bears several litters in a year and may produce as many as 18 young in one litter
